Uche Pedro is the founder of BellaNaija, Africa’s leading lifestyle and advocacy digital media company with a vibrant community of over 12 million Africans on the continent and in the diaspora. Today, BN is home to global superbrands – BellaNaija Online, BellaNaija Style and BellaNaija Weddings, which have influenced and transformed creative industries across Africa.
In March 2020, Uche was honoured by Forbes Africa as one of the 50 most powerful women in Africa. In 2021, she was announced as a Young Leader laureate by the French-African Foundation.
Uche holds a Bachelor’s degree with distinction from the Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada. She is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School Mid-Career Master of Public Administration/Mason Fellow program which she completed alongside a fellowship at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. She is currently a member of the HKS Fund Executive Council.
Uche is passionate about the progress of Africa’s emerging generations and works to foster positive change through BellaNaija DoGood initiatives and partnerships with grassroots, local and impact organizations.
