Pauline Wanja

Pauline is the CEO of Future First Kenya.

Over the last ten years, she has played a vital role in shaping alumni engagement in Kenyan High schools. She steered the launch of the Association of Alumni Communities in Kenya in
partnership with the Ministry of Education. And was part of the technical team that drafted the Mentorship Policy for basic education that saw the institutionalization of an annual alumni
mentorship day in the Kenyan School calendar. She is currently working on expanding alumni programs with Kenyans in Diaspora, local Universities and NGOs.

Before Joining Future First, she designed and implemented youth engagement programs for ActionAid International, MS Denmark, the World Bank Institute, World Youth Alliance, Ashoka
Youth Venture Program and British Council’s Global change makers. She is an Acumen Fellow, African Visionary Fellow and served on CIVICUS World Assemblies and Africa Social
Entrepreneurs Network Boards. She is a recipient of a Nelson Mandela- Graca Machel Innovation Award. She holds a law degree from Moi University.
