Nhlanhla Mjoli

Ms. Mjoli-Mncube is the Managing Director of Mjoli Development Company and Eziko Investments. Eziko Investments is a diversified family owned, investment company with investments in medium sized companies and listed companies. The portfolio includes construction, mining, engineering, manufacturing, insurance, technology, financial services and agriculture.

She has worked as an Executive Director at a Murray and Roberts subsidiary, Manager at Washington State University (United States of America), Town Planner at Natal Planning Commission, Executive Director at a Housing Finance Guarantee Company (NURCHA). NURCHA is the leading funder of contractors and SMMEs, as well as women contractors in South Africa. NURCHA was the first fund to invest in women contractors and black contractors, a group that was previously considered unbankable. She was part of the team that created National Housing Finance Corporation, Rural Housing Fund, Thembani Guarantee Fund, amongst others. She is the ex-deputy chairman of the Construction Industry Development Board, an institution that has played a major role in the transformation of the construction industry. She played a key role in the creation of the Construction Charter.

She is an entrepreneur with solid leadership experience in the public, private and NGO sectors in South Africa and the USA. She is the founder President of SAWEN (South African Women Entrepreneurs), Technology for Women in Business and Women in Housing. She has served as an Economic Advisor to the South African Presidency.
