Adebola Williams

Adebola Williams is the Chairman, AW Network, and Co-founder of RED | For Africa, the continent’s largest portfolio of youth-focused media brands including Red Media Africa, StateCraft Inc., The Future Awards Africa, and Y!/YNaija.com.

Out of his desire to inspire his three goddaughters, Adebola recently authored African Power Girls, a compendium of some of the most inspiring stories of past and present female African leaders like Queen Amina of Zaria, Hadiza Ladi Kwali, Bisoye Tejuosho, Grace Alele Williams, and Melody Millicent Danquah, capturing the grace, strength, wisdom, victory, and fearless, driven purpose of African women in time past who refused to succumb to societal norms and used their voices, abilities, and vision to lay a foundation of becoming an inspiration for other women to follow.
Through the book, Adebola seeks to show the African female child that she has the innate ability to be extraordinary, shape society and empower them to take up space in any field and BE, while instilling lessons to foster healthy relationships.

Adebola sits on boards of ZedCrest Capital as a Non. Executive Director, United Nations Generation Unlimited (GenU) as a Global Champion and Co-Chair of workstream four. He was recently named a global Patron for Malaria No More UK.

He was in 2022 awarded the outstanding African Business Leader Awards by African Leadership Magazine UK and has been named Choiseul top 100 business leaders in Africa for three years consecutively in Nice, France.
