Ntefeleng Nene is a Partner at The Bridgespan Group in Africa, a global non-profit that strives to make the world more equitable and just. Ntefeleng is a social impact practitioner supporting leading philanthropies and social sector organizations to deliver on their mission. She has keen interest in working with organizations that are driving Africa’s development agenda. She has advised donors, governments and non-profits across Africa on a wide range of global development issues. She co-authored the following research reports: “Strength in Numbers: Philanthropic Collaborations in Africa and Their Unique Potential”; “The Changing Landscape of Large-Scale Giving in Africa by Non-African Philanthropists” and “Community-Driven Change in Action: Demonstrating Impact in Africa and India.”
Prior to joining Bridgespan, Ntefeleng led Accenture’s social impact practice (Accenture Development Partnerships) in Africa supporting NPOs with developing their strategies and operating models. She chaired Accenture Development Partnerships’ global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group. Before taking on the role to lead Accenture Development Partnerships, she worked in Accenture South Africa’s Health and Public Services business unit as part of the team responsible for growing the public health business. She started her career as a development specialist working in the non-profit sector across Africa.
Ntefeleng also worked for Management Sciences for Health (MSH) and FHI360 where she focused on technical assistance and capacity building for non-profit organizations across sub-Saharan Africa. Her work at MSH led to her co-authoring a Technical Report: South Africa Pharmaceutical Leadership Development Program. She also provided technical assistance on governance to the SA National Department of Health: Affordable Medicines Directorate and contributed to Developing Better Terms of Reference to Improve the Performance of Pharmaceutical Sector Committees: Case Studies from SA.
