Lerato is a seasoned practitioner in development finance and economic development with over 16 years of professional experience. Her career has spanned a variety of sectors, including investment banking, insurance, youth employment, early childhood development, impact investing, and corporate governance.

Lerato currently leads Yellowwoods’ microenterprise development solutions hub and an innovative finance platform for inclusive job creation. Her leadership is marked by a proactive approach to solving complex challenges and fostering collaborative relationships.

Lerato also serves as a Trustee for the Nedbank Eyethu Community Trust and is the Chairperson of the Nedbank Black Business Partners Legacy Trust.
