Rebecca is a trusted philanthropy expert and an advocate for gender equity and the growth in giving and social impact globally. Over fifteen years, she has advised and guided high-net-worth philanthropists around the world, ranging from C-Suite Executives, business owners, multi-generational families, and wealth-inheritors as well as members of the diaspora and female wealth-holders.
Rebecca has worked for UK and international non-governmental and humanitarian organisations including International Rescue Committee, ActionAid UK/International, British Red Cross and is currently working with UK for UNHCR – the UN Refugee Agency. She has also worked for National Philanthropic Trust – UK, a charity managing philanthropic capital for high-net-worth individuals by providing donor-advised funds. Her focus has been on helping individuals to identify and support causes and projects aligned with their values, designing giving strategies, and importantly, helping individuals to connect with the change their giving has made possible.
Driven by a passion to promote the use of private capital for good, Rebecca is also working to improve the philanthropic ecosystem for wealth holders creating resources, spaces and providing trusted advice whilst also working to build bridges between the Private Client and non-profit sectors. She works with givers, advisors, fundraisers and non-profit leaders alike to promote shared understanding and collaboration to foster more effective and efficient philanthropic giving.
