Sarah Stephen is the Communications Officer at African Philanthropy Forum. She is a Communications and Corporate Affairs professional with prior work experience at Japan Tobacco International, FF&E Digital Enterprises, Telefonica Spain and ExxonMobil.
Sarah’s biggest motivation is her desire to positively transform the lives of people, especially by bridging the widening and persistent gap in the quality of life between the privileged and underprivileged. Of particular interest to her is the inclusive and sustainable development of Africa. She founded the Africa Young Adults Development Initiative (YADI Africa), a nonprofit established to promote a reading culture among young adults in Africa.
She is passionate about people, cultures and languages; and has an intermediate proficiency in French and Spanish.
Sarah holds a BA in International Law and Diplomacy, with a Master’s in Corporate Communications from IE Business School in Spain.
